The Royal Navy Royal Marines Road Race Team is made up of all ranks and from all round the services. Riders race for all different reasons and goals, but the main point is the love of riding bikes with others who enjoy it too.

We race all-round the country and compete in RN & RM Championships as well as a well established Inter Services Championships. There is a wide range of classes from CB500 all the way through to Litre Bikes.

You do not need to have masses of riding experience on the roads or trackdays as there are classes to cater for all even those on restricted road licences or even those with no road licence.

Timeline PhotosThe 600,000+ strong Fourteenth Army played a vital role in victory over Japan. During the Burma campaign, they faced the danger of tropical diseases, as well as Japanese forces. 80% of the British and Imperial forces evacuated from Burma in 1942 had contracted some form of disease. To put that in perspective; for every soldier evacuated with wounds, 120 were evacuated through sickness.
