The Team provides a social and friendly approach to circuit racing, where we focus on support and advice to all our competitors, ensuring a safe and cost effective route to racing.

The CRT aims to promote race fitness and inter-service competition and is currently competing as a team in the Armed Forces Race Challenge (AFRC).

Our goals are to grow novice and seasoned drivers to enable us to challenge for both the Team Championship in the AFRC and also the Inter-Services Championship, held each year at the 6hr Birkett Relay.

Think there has been of development and improvements going on behind the scenes over lockdown, really looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish our competitors, supporters and officials the very best for 2021.

Whilst 2020 didn’t deliver what was promising to be our biggest season yet with bumper grids we did get some on track action at the 750MC - Birkett Relay in October.

For competitors our membership system will be back online in the new few weeks and 2021 registration will open, we are hopeful of getting back on track soon.

Our championship wouldn’t be possible without the competitors or sponsors we have and to each and every one of you we’re all incredibly grateful. We will be reintroducing them over the next few weeks.

Full team attack next year, going to be awesome.

Looking forward to it already! Just need some more gaffer tape...

Look forward to supporting or racing if I’ve managed to get enough races under my belt by then.

Double tap on the teams this year

Timeline Photos“This year has been very tough having been unable to go out, meet with friends and mark significant anniversaries. However, I admire those who have been on the front line dealing with this terrible virus day-to-day, they have shown the same sense of duty that my generation did during the Second World War, they are the ones now protecting our society.”

Like many others, former Able seaman Seymour ‘Bill’ Taylor, 95, will be remembering his comrades on his doorstep this year. This year we’re celebrating the contribution of every member of our Armed Forces who stepped up to defend our way of life then, and those who continue to do so today, whatever the threat.
